A custom bathroom vanity in Ventura usually solves two problems at once: a room that is too small and a counter that is too low.

Comfort height, roughly 34 to 36 inches, unless there is a reason not to. Your 1951 vanity is probably 30 to 32 inches, which is why it feels low. The exceptions are a bathroom used mainly by children and a vessel sink installation, where the bowl sits on top of the counter and the box has to be built lower to compensate.
